Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Again and again I come to Your shelter - pour Your kindness and keep me safe.

Lead me into the Sangat, and bless me with the honor of the Naam. Nanak says: I have found the wealth of the Naam through the Guru's teaching.

Asking for shelter, again and again, is always allowed.
The deeper layer

Again and again we come to shelter, asking for the Sangat and the honor of the Name. Nanak's signature closes the shabad.

A Question to Sit With

Where do you go when you need to feel safe and steadied?
