In plain words

There is only One. And the One is found by the True Guru's grace — a gift that is always here, waiting for an open heart.

Love for the One is an overflowing treasure; whoever faces the Guru is carried across.

The one my Master blesses sings His praises with joy.

Some treasures overflow no matter how much you give away.
The deeper layer

Love for the One is a treasure that never runs out.

This verse opens the shabad. Har har bhagat bharay bhandaaraa — love and devotion for the One is an overflowing storehouse. Bhagat means loving devotion.

Gurmukh means someone who faces the Guru, the true Teacher. The One carries that person across.

Think of a grandmother's kitchen during a festival. There is always more food, however many people come. Devotion is like that. The one the Master blesses sings the One's praises. And the singing carries them across.

A Question to Sit With

What good thing in your life feels like it never runs out?
