I serve the feet, the feet, the feet of the Guru, and manage the unmanageable. I have found the juice, the sublime essence. ||3||

In plain words

Nothing is missing now. The restless thirst in my mind has been answered, and a treasure that never runs empty has settled inside me.

I serve at the Guru's feet again and again, and what once felt rough and unworkable in me has been shaped into something good. I have tasted the sweet essence.

Even a rough and restless mind can be shaped into something good.
The deeper layer

Nothing is missing anymore. The restless wanting has been answered.

Tot naahee: there is no lack. Man tarisnaa boojhee: the thirst in the mind is put out. Akhut bhandaar is a treasure that never runs empty, and it has settled inside him. Think of a water bottle that fills itself back up every time you drink.

Then he says, charan charan charan gur sayvay: I serve the Guru's feet, again and again. Serving the feet is an old way of saying humble, loving service.

Agharh gharhi-o: what could not be shaped has been shaped. Maaroo is the raag of courage and struggle, and this is its inner battle. The rough, restless mind is slowly shaped into something good, like clay on a potter's wheel. In this raag, the fight that matters most is the one with your own mind.

A Question to Sit With

What is one rough edge in yourself you are slowly working on?
