Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Listen, my Master: I am Your own, my Beloved, Yours completely.

As You ask, so I walk, my true and dear Beloved.

Walk gladly the way the Beloved asks.
The deeper layer

The rahao. Laalaa names the one devoted to the laal, the Beloved; it means loving belonging. Jio furmaaveh tio chalaa is walking in harmony with the hukam, the flow of existence, as an act of love.

A Question to Sit With

What does it feel like to move in step with someone you love?
