In the midst of Maya, the Immaculate Lord is known, by those upon whom You bestow Your Grace. ||6||
Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
The Guru opens up the heart of all the old holy books, what they were pointing to. In mercy, the One has come into my own home.
Right in the middle of a busy, tangled day, the pure One can be known, by anyone whom grace touches.
The pure One can be known right in the middle of ordinary, busy life.
Agam nigam satguroo dikhaa-i-aa — the Guru reveals the essence of the scriptures (the Shaastras and Vedas). The holy books point somewhere, and the Guru shows where. Anjan maahi niranjan jaataa — right in the midst of maya, everyday entanglement, the pure One is known, by those touched by nadar, grace.
