As it pleases You, so You keep me, and so I remain; what excuse could I offer to You? ||1||

In plain words

There is only One. And the One is found by the True Guru's grace — a gift that is always here, waiting for an open heart.

There is one Truth at the center of everything, and nothing at all stands apart from it.

The One who brought all things into being also gathers them gently back, the way the sea takes back its own waves.

However You choose to hold me is how I will rest. I have nothing I need to hide from You.

One Truth holds everything, and I can rest in it just as I am.
The deeper layer

There is one True One, and no second: this is the bedrock of the whole tradition. The One who brings things into being also gathers them back home, the way the sea takes back its own waves.

A Question to Sit With

What helps you feel steady when you remember you are part of something much bigger than yourself?
