Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
You know everything and You see everything.
You made this whole wide world, and You delight in it.
You are the air I breathe, the water I drink, and the warmth of fire, and You are what draws all things together.
The One is not far off in the sky but is the very air, water, and warmth of my day.
The elements (air, water, fire) are named as expressions of the One rather than as separate stuff. Delight in creation is foregrounded, in keeping with the raag's turn toward wonder.
A Question to Sit With
Where do you notice the One hiding in ordinary things around you?
