The Food of Truth That Fills Me

bhojan saach milai aaghaa-ee.
Receiving the food of Truth, one is satisfied.
naam ratan saachee vadi-aa-ee.
True is the glorious greatness of the jewel of the Name.

One who understands his own self, realizes the Lord. His light merges into the Light. ||7||

In plain words

When I feed on what is true, I finally feel full.

The Name is a jewel, and its greatness is real.

And the one who comes to understand their own self meets the One, their small light joining the great Light.

The food that fills me is truth, and knowing my own self opens the door.
The deeper layer

Truth as nourishing food (bhojan) satisfies where lesser things cannot. Self-understanding (cheenai aap) is named as the doorway to meeting the One, ending again in the merging of lights.

A Question to Sit With

What is something that fills you up in a way that snacks and screens never quite do?
