Dedicating mind and body to God, one meets the Lord, the Life of the World, and becomes just like Him. ||9||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

No one is completely free of struggle and quarrel; it is part of being alive.

Show me someone with none, and I would gladly praise them.

When I offer my whole heart and body to the One, I meet the life of the world and slowly grow to be like it.

Everyone carries some struggle, so I do not have to be ashamed of mine.
The deeper layer

The honest admission that everyone carries some conflict is oddly comforting: it removes shame from struggle. The remedy is offering oneself wholly to the One and being reshaped by that closeness.

A Question to Sit With

How does it help to know that everyone, not just you, has hard days?
