Carry the Name and See the One in All

har har naam vakhar lai chalhu.
Depart with the merchandise of the Name of the Lord, Har, Har,
darsan paavhu sahj mahlahu.
and you shall intuitively obtain the Blessed Vision of His Darshan, in the Mansion of His Presence.
gurmukh khoj laheh jan pooray i-o samadrasee cheenaa hay. ||13||
The Gurmukhs search for Him and find Him; they are the perfect humble beings. In this way, they see Him, who looks upon all alike. ||13||

In plain words

Fill your heart's bag with the Name, and carry that treasure wherever you go.

Naturally, easily, you begin to catch sight of the One's presence, at home right inside you.

Those who seek with a humble heart find the One — and they see the same One shining equally in every single person, high or low, near or far.

Carry the Name, and you begin to see the One shining equally in everyone.
The deeper layer

Samadrasee — the One who looks upon all alike. The seeker who carries the Naam comes to see the One equally in everyone. This is Guru Nanak's radical equality, the same One in every heart without ranking.

A Question to Sit With

What changes when you look for what is good and shining in each person you meet?
