Beholding His Darshan, the unattached one meets the Lord; subduing the mind's desires, he merges into the Lord. ||16||
Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
The nourishment of true wisdom is the sweetest food there is.
Whoever tastes it catches sight of the One's presence.
Seeing that, the heart grows calm and free, meets the One, and melts its restless wanting into peace.
True wisdom is the sweetest food, and it feeds the soul into peace.
Gi-aan (spiritual wisdom) is bhojan (food), the sweetest essence. Tasting it opens darsan; the bairaagee (unattached) heart then meets the One and stills its mansaa (restless wanting) into peace.
