Sikhism·Raag Maaroo·Shabad 93
Verse 14 of 16

Nothing Can Harm the Ones Who Love the One

har kay log nahee jam maarai.
Death cannot strike down the people of the Lord.
naa dukh daykheh panth karaarai.
They do not see pain on the most difficult path.
raam naam ghat antar poojaa avar na doojaa kaahaa hay. ||14||
Deep within the nucleus of their hearts, they worship and adore the Lord's Name; there is nothing else at all for them. ||14||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Death holds no terror for those whose hearts belong to the One.

Even on the hardest road, they walk without being crushed by pain.

Deep in their hearts they cherish the Name, and for them nothing else is needed — that love is home enough.

For a heart that loves the One, that love is home enough, and nothing can harm it.
The deeper layer

Har kay log — the people of the One — are untouched by the terror of death and walk the panth karaarai (hard path) without seeing pain. Their whole treasure is the Naam enshrined in the heart — home enough.
