Sikhism·Raag Maaroo·Shabad 93
Verse 15 of 16

Endless Praise, and a Robe of Honor

orh na kathnai sifat sajaa-ee.
There is no end to the Lord's sermon and Praise.
ji-o tuDh bhaaveh raheh rajaa-ee.
As it pleases You, I remain under Your Will.
dargeh paiDhay jaan suhaylay hukam sachay paatisaahaa hay. ||15||
I am embellished with robes of honor in the Court of the Lord, by the Order of the True King. ||15||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

There is no end to the wonder we could sing of the One.

Whatever pleases You, I rest happily inside Your gentle will.

And so I am wrapped in a robe of honour in Your presence, welcomed home by the True One.

Resting happily in the flow of life, you are welcomed home with honor.
The deeper layer

Orh na kathnai sifat sajaa-ee — the One's praise has no end. Resting content in rajaa-ee, the One's will, the seeker is paidhay, robed in honor, in the One's court: welcome awaits the heart at rest.

A Question to Sit With

What does it feel like to fully relax and trust that things are held well?
