Verse 14 of 16

Endless Treasures, Freely Shared

karam Dharam sach haath tumaarai.
You hold karma and Dharma in Your hands, O True Lord.
vayparvaah akhut bhandaarai.
O Independent Lord, Your treasures are inexhaustible.
too da-i-aal kirpaal sadaa parabh aapay mayl milaa-idaa. ||14||
You are forever kind and compassionate, God. You unite in Your Union. ||14||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

All the fairness of the world rests in the One's hands.

The One needs nothing and depends on no one, and the storehouse of good gifts never runs empty.

Always kind, always gentle, the One draws hearts close and makes them one.

The One's kindness is a storehouse that never empties.
The deeper layer

'Vayparvaah' means carefree and self-sufficient; 'akhut bhandaar' is the inexhaustible treasury. The One holds karma and dharma yet gives without any anxiety of running short.

A Question to Sit With

When has someone's kindness felt like it would never run out?
