Eradicating self-conceit, they are attuned to Your Love; night and day, they meditate on the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ||2||
Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
Those who love the One look beautiful standing in the One's presence.
They are free, free from worry and free from fear.
They have quietly set aside 'look at me', and now, day and night, they keep the One in mind.
Setting down 'look at me' is the beginning of freedom.
'Mukat' is freedom. It comes from 'aap gavaae', letting the self-important 'me' dissolve, so that remembrance of the Name (Naam simran) can fill the heart night and day.
A Question to Sit With
Who is someone who quietly serves others that you admire?
