ਪਲੈ ਸਾਚੁ ਸਚੇ ਸਚਿਆਰਾ ॥
palai saach sachay sachi-aaraa.
The Truest of the True has the Truth is His lap.
ਸਾਚੇ ਭਾਵੈ ਸਬਦੁ ਪਿਆਰਾ ॥
saachay bhaavai sabad pi-aaraa.
The True Lord is pleased with those who love the Shabad.
ਤ੍ਰਿਭਵਣਿ ਸਾਚੁ ਕਲਾ ਧਰਿ ਥਾਪੀ ਸਾਚੇ ਹੀ ਪਤੀਆਇਦਾ ॥੧੧॥
taribhavan saach kalaa Dhar thaapee saachay hee patee-aa-idaa. ||11||
Exerting His power, the Lord has established Truth throughout the three worlds; with Truth He is pleased. ||11||

The One is the most real thing there is, and holds truth close like a treasure in its lap.
The One is glad when we love the Teacher's word.
Truth is woven through the whole wide world, and the One is happiest wherever truth is alive.
Truth is the thread running through the whole world.
'Sach' means Truth, what lasts, set against what only looks bright and washes off. Truth is 'established throughout the three worlds' (tribhavan), the thread running through everything.
