In plain words

When truth and contentment are in charge of your body-village, all is well.

Living cleanly, honestly, and with a calm hold on yourself is like resting safely in the One's shelter.

Nanak says: with an easy natural grace, you meet the One who is the life of the world, and the Guru's word brings you honor.

Let truth and contentment run your inner village.
The deeper layer

'Sat santokh' (truth and contentment) govern the body-village. At the close comes 'sahj', the natural ease of a settled soul who meets 'jagjeevan', the Life of the world.

A Question to Sit With

What would change if contentment were in charge of your day?
