ਸਚਾ ਸਉਦਾ ਵਿਰਲਾ ਕੋ ਪਾਏ ॥
sachaa sa-udaa virlaa ko paa-ay.
How rare are those who obtain the true merchandise.
ਪੂਰਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਮਿਲੈ ਮਿਲਾਏ ॥
pooraa satgur milai milaa-ay.
Meeting the Perfect True Guru, one meets with the Lord.
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹੋਇ ਸੁ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਪਛਾਣੈ ਮਾਨੈ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਸਮਾਇਦਾ ॥੯॥
gurmukh ho-ay so hukam pachhaanai maanai hukam samaa-idaa. ||9||
One who becomes Gurmukh realizes the Hukam of His command; surrendering to His Command, one merges in the Lord. ||9||

Only a rare person finds this true treasure.
But meeting the Perfect Guru, you meet the One.
When you turn toward the Guru, you begin to see the flow of existence, and settling into it, you blend right into the One.
Understanding life's flow, you flow right into the One.
'Hukam pachhaanai... maanai hukam samaaidaa': to recognize the flow of existence and align with it is to merge into the One. Understanding and acceptance are two steps of one movement.
