In plain words

You know me from the inside; every living being is Yours.

You are the Great Giver, and I am glad to serve.

Be kind and pour the nectar of Your Naam into me, and let the Guru light the jewel-lamp of understanding in my heart.

The One already knows you completely and still loves to give.
The deeper layer

Antarjaamee is the inner-knower, the One who reads the heart. The asking here is devotion: to be filled with amrit naam (the Naam like nectar) and lit by gian ratan (the jewel-lamp of wisdom). To be fully known and still cherished is the ground of trust.

A Question to Sit With

What would you ask for if you knew you were fully understood?
