Mind and body are pleased, lovingly attuned to the One Lord, intuitively absorbed in peace and poise.

By Guru's Grace, doubt and fear are dispelled, being lovingly attuned to the One Name. ||2||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

My mind and body are soaked with joy, lovingly tuned to the One, resting easily in peace.

By the Guru's grace, doubt and fear run away, as I stay lovingly tuned to the one Naam.

Love for the One melts doubt and fear away.
The deeper layer

When the heart is tuned to the One, peace soaks all the way through.

Man tan bheejai ayk liv laagai — mind and body are drenched, tuned to the One. Think of dry garden soil after a long monsoon rain, soft and soaked right through. Sehjay rahay samaa-ee — the person rests in sahj, a calm that comes naturally.

Gur parsaadee bharam bha-o bhaagai — by the Guru's grace, doubt and fear run away. Grace means a gift of kindness. And the person stays tuned to the one Naam.

A Question to Sit With

What melts your worries away when they start to pile up?
