Gazing upon them, I am at peace; the pain and disease of egotism are gone. ||2||

In plain words

Those who sing of the One, those who meditate on the One — O One, in Your kindness, make me their companion.

Seeing them, I find peace, and the pain and sickness of ego are gone.

The ache of only-me is healed simply by being near loving hearts.
The deeper layer

Being near people who sing of the One brings peace and heals the sickness of ego.

Jin har gaa-i-aa jin har japi-aa: those who sing of the One and meditate on the One. Tin sangat har maylhu kar ma-i-aa: O One, in kindness, make me their companion. Tin kaa daras daykh sukh paa-i-aa: seeing them, I find peace.

Dukh ha-umai rog ga-i-aa: the pain and rog, sickness, of ha-umai are gone. Ha-umai is ego, the feeling of being a separate self. Being near loving people works like medicine.
