Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
The One breaks pain apart and wipes fear away.
The One takes care of all its living beings.
The One who keeps us safe is kind, always.
Forever and ever, I give myself to the One.
Fear shrinks in the presence of something that is always looking after you.
The One takes away pain and fear and looks after every living being, kindly and always.
Dukh bhannaa bhai bhanjanhaar: the breaker of sorrow and the eraser of fear. Malaar often sings the ache of being apart from the One; here that ache is answered with comfort. Saar keetee means takes tender care, like the rain that satisfies every being. Raakhanhaar is the Protector. Kurbaan means giving yourself completely, out of love.
