Avar si-aanap saglee paaj: all other cleverness is just show. Si-aanap means cleverness. Paaj is a thin outer coating, like gold paint on a plastic toy. It shines, but there is nothing underneath.
Jai bakhsay tai pooraa kaaj: when the One forgives and blesses, the work becomes pooraa, whole and complete. You can plan and polish for hours. Still, it is grace that finishes things.
