In plain words

Your Naam is my strength. Your Naam is what holds me up.

Your Naam is my army. Your Naam is my king.

Your Naam brings honor, glory and a welcome.

By Your kind glance of grace, I am given the banner and the mark of Your mercy.

The Naam is a strength no army or crown can equal.
The deeper layer

Every kind of strength you could count on is found in the Naam.

The verse names the things people usually count on for strength. Taan is strength. Deebaan is a support, like a royal court that backs you up. Laskar is an army. Sultaan is a king. The verse gathers all of them into one: Your Naam.

Then comes nadree karam, the kind glance of grace. By that glance, a neesaan is given. That is a banner, a mark of mercy. Think of a team jersey. Wearing it shows whose team you are on.

The deepest strength comes from the Naam and the grace behind it, more than from any army or crown.

A Question to Sit With

What gives you strength inside when things feel hard?
