In plain words

Dear One, I will stay in Your shelter forever.

Keep me however You please, my Master. This is Your glorious greatness.

Trust is letting yourself be cared for in ways you didn't script.
The deeper layer

Stay in the One's shelter always, and trust the One to keep you as the One sees best.

This is the rahaa-o, the "pause" line, the center of the shabad. It answers the opening with a choice: I will stay.

Har jee-o sadaa tayree sarnaa-ee means, dear One, I will stay in Your shelter forever.

Ji-o bhaavai ti-o raakho means keep me however You think best. These are words of trust, not of giving up. Think of riding in the back seat while a parent you trust drives. You do not need to know every turn. You just know you are in good hands.

Ayh tayree vadi-aa-ee means this is Your greatness. The way the One cares for us, in the One's own way, is itself a kind of greatness.

A Question to Sit With

What would it feel like to fully trust that you're being looked after?
