In this Dark Age of Kali Yuga, the Lord is All-pervading.

The One God is pervading and permeating each and every heart; the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, is revealed to the Gurmukh. ||1||Pause||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

In these dark times, the One is everywhere.

The one Lord fills each and every heart. Facing the Guru, you see the Naam of the One, Har, Har, shining clear.

The One fills every heart; turning toward the Guru is what reveals it.
The deeper layer

The One fills every heart, even in hard times.

This is the Rahao, the "pause" line at the center of the shabad. Kalee kaal, the age of Kali, is the name for our times, when goodness can be hard to see. Even now, the One is everywhere.

Ghat ghat poor rahi-aa: the One fills each and every heart. That is the great theme of this raag. Yet what is everywhere can still be hidden. It is like WiFi in your house. It fills every room, but you only notice it when you connect. The gurmukh, the one who turns toward the Guru, sees the Naam made pargat, which means shown clearly.

A Question to Sit With

If the same One were in every person you meet, how might you treat them?
