In plain words

The one whom the True One helps to accept the flow of life

is a wise and knowing devotee.

Nanak says: I give myself to that one, forever.

The wisest person is the one at peace with the flow of life.
The deeper layer

The wisest people are at peace with how life flows.

Bhaanaa means the Will, the way things unfold. Sachaa manaa-ay apnaa bhaanaa means "the True One helps a person gladly accept the Will." Even that acceptance is a gift.

So-ee bhagat sugharh sojaanaa means "that devotee is wise and knowing." The wisdom here is the quiet kind: staying calm when plans change.

Think of a picnic that gets rained out. One kid sulks. Another says, "Let's play board games inside!" The second one has found this kind of wisdom.

Naanak tis kai sad kurbaanaa means "Nanak gives his whole heart to that person, always." It is a warm, admiring way to end.

A Question to Sit With

Who do you know that seems at ease with how things are, and what is that like?
