ਜਪਿ ਮਨ ਪਰਮੇਸੁਰੁ ਪਰਧਾਨੁ ॥
jap man parmaysur parDhaan.
O mind, chant and meditate on the Supreme Transcendent Lord God.
ਖਿਨ ਖੋਵੈ ਪਾਪ ਕੋਟਾਨ ॥
khin khovai paap kotaan.
Millions of sins shall be destroyed in an instant.
ਮਿਲੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਭਗਵਾਨ ॥੨॥੧॥੭॥
mil naanak har bhagvaan. ||2||1||7||
O Nanak, you shall meet with the Lord God. ||2||1||7||

O mind, remember the Supreme Lord, the highest of all.
In a single instant, millions of wrongs are wiped away.
Nanak says: you will meet the One, the Lord.
Turn to the One, and in an instant the weight falls away.
Turn your mind to the Supreme One, and millions of wrongs fall away in an instant; then you meet the One.
The Partaal closes on its promise: chant the parmaysur pardhaan — the Supreme One at the center of all — and paap kotaan, sins by the millions, fall away khin, in an instant. The final word is mil — you shall meet — the whole raag's longing arriving at its meeting.
