Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
Remembering the Naam, all my wrongs are wiped away.
The Guru has given me the True Naam as my wealth to start with.
The One's servants are honored in the One's court. Serving, they look beautiful forever.
There is a quiet beauty that comes over people who serve with a full heart.
Remembering the Naam wipes away wrongs, and the True Naam becomes the wealth you start your life with.
"Kilbikh naasay" is faults dissolving. "Raasay" (capital, investment) makes the True Name the starting fund of a rich life. "Dargeh sobhaavantay sohantay" describes servants who look beautiful in the divine court — beauty as a byproduct of service.
A Question to Sit With
Have you noticed how someone looks different — lighter, warmer — when they are helping others?
