In plain words

If you have such good fortune, you are blessed to see the One.

That person crosses over, and carries the whole family across too.

One person who crosses over can bring a whole family along.
The deeper layer

One person who finds the truth can lift a whole family.

This is the rahaa-o doojaa, the second "pause" line. A pause line is the center of a shabad, and this one closes the hymn. It says jay hovai bhaag taa darsan paa-ee-ai: with good fortune, one gets darsan, a true sight of the One.

Then aap tarai sabh kutamb taraa-ee-ai: they cross over and carry their whole family across too. Think of the one person in a family who learns to swim well. They help everyone else into the water, and soon the whole family is swimming.

A Question to Sit With

Who might you help carry along if you found your own footing?
