There is only One. And the One is found by the True Guru's grace — a gift that is always here, waiting for an open heart.
My worried fear of dying and being born again has been taken away.
The One has shown me love, and it has come up in me easily, all on its own.
The fear of dying can loosen its grip, and the One's love can rise up inside you on its own.
This morning song begins with how it ends: a big worry has gone.
Maran jeevan kee sankaa naasee means the worry about dying and being born again has left. Sankaa means anxious doubt, the kind that churns inside. This does not mean the body will never die. It means the fear loosens its grip.
Why? Because Kabir no longer feels like a small, separate thing, cut off from everything. Think of a wave on the sea. A wave that remembers it is part of the ocean is not scared of reaching the shore.
Aapan rang sahj pargaasee means the One's own color, the One's joy, has come up inside him sahj, naturally and easily. That word matters. Kabir did not earn or build this warmth. It rose up by itself, like the sky turning pink at dawn. It is grace that was always there, felt the moment he stopped blocking it.
What is one fear that feels smaller when you remember you are part of something much bigger?
