Kabir, Your slave, performs this Aartee, this lamp-lit worship service for You, O Formless Lord of Nirvaanaa. ||3||5||

In plain words

The unstruck music of the five sounds plays and rings out. I live with the Lord of the World.

Kabir says: I, Your servant, offer You this aartee, this worship of light, O Formless One, free of every tie.

A music no one plays is always sounding, and your whole self can be the offering.
The deeper layer

A whole life can become worship, lit and filled with music from within.

Anaahad means unstruck. The anaahad shabad is a music no one plays, always softly sounding. Kabir hears it inside him. He feels the Lord of the world right beside him.

Then he signs his name. Kabeer daas — Kabir, the one who belongs wholly to You. He offers this aartee to the nirankaar, the One with no shape, who is free of every tie.

Think of a song you love that plays in your head all day, with no speaker anywhere. Kabir's life is filled and lit like that, from within.

A Question to Sit With

When have you felt a quiet joy that seemed to come from nowhere and everywhere at once?
