In plain words

The knots that tied me down came loose, and I tuned my heart to the One like a string tuned to a note — and the Sangat welcomed me in.

This precious human life turned clean and whole, and every wish of my heart was filled.

When your heart is tuned to the right note, the old knots loosen on their own.
The deeper layer

When the knots come loose and the heart is tuned to the One, a human life turns clean and whole.

BanDhan tor raam liv laa-ee — the bonds, the fears and cravings and old habits, break, and the heart tunes to the One like an instrument to a note. Satsang ban aa-ee — and I find my place in the Sangat — people gathered together to remember the One.

Janam padaarath, the precious gift of a human life, becomes puneetaa, made clean, right here in the middle of the world. Ichhaa sagal pujaa-ee — every wish is met once the heart is aimed right.

A Question to Sit With

What is a knot inside you that you would love to feel come loose?
