Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

The rain has fallen everywhere.

Sing the One's praise with joy and delight, and the One's perfect love comes into view.

The One's grace falls everywhere, like rain.
The deeper layer

voothaa sarab thaa-ee mayhu means the rain has fallen in all places. Saarang is the raag of the rainy season and of the chaatrik, the bird that thirsts for the raindrop; here the rain has already come, everywhere. anad mangal, joy and blessing, is the mood of singing that makes the ever-present One pargati-o, revealed. The song is how we notice the rain already falling.

A Question to Sit With

When has something good felt like it was meant just for you, even though it was there for everyone?
