In plain words

Mother, I gaze on the One, and I am filled with wonder.

A song no one plays has won my mind. Its taste is amazing.

Underneath everything hums a song no one plays — and hearing it fills you with wonder.
The deeper layer

bismaad is wonder-struck awe. The child speaks to maa-ee, mother, the way you run to tell someone you love about something astonishing. anhad dhunee is the unstruck sound — the melody made by no instrument, heard in deep stillness. This wonder is the "Wow!" of the heart. Wonder is the very doorway through which oneness reveals itself.

A Question to Sit With

When was the last time something left you wonder-struck — so amazed you wanted to tell someone?
