ਸੁਭ ਬਚਨ ਬੋਲਿ ਗੁਨ ਅਮੋਲ ॥
subh bachan bol gun amol.
Chant His Sublime Word and His Priceless Glories.
ਕਿੰਕਰੀ ਬਿਕਾਰ ॥
kinkree bikaar.
Why are you indulging in corrupt actions?
ਦੇਖੁ ਰੀ ਬੀਚਾਰ ॥
daykh ree beechaar.
Look at this, see and understand!
ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦੁ ਧਿਆਇ ਮਹਲੁ ਪਾਇ ॥
gur sabad Dhi-aa-ay mahal paa-ay.
Meditate on the Word of the Guru's Shabad, and attain the Mansion of the Lord's Presence.
ਹਰਿ ਸੰਗਿ ਰੰਗ ਕਰਤੀ ਮਹਾ ਕੇਲ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
har sang rang kartee mahaa kayl. ||1|| rahaa-o.
Imbued with the Love of the Lord, you shall totally play with Him. ||1||Pause||

There is only One. And the One is found by the True Guru's grace — a gift that is always here, waiting for an open heart.
Speak the beautiful Word, and sing the priceless praises. Why give yourself to what goes wrong?
Look, and think it through. Hold the Guru's Shabad in your mind, and you reach the One's own home. Colored with the One's love, you play there in great delight.
Love that has found its footing gets to play.
Why spend yourself on what tangles you? In the dancing Partaal rhythm comes a promise: the One's own home within, and a delighted play in the One's love (mahaa kayl). Love that has found its footing can play.
