Nanak's mind is in ecstasy; the Guru has shattered the impregnable fortress. ||2||6||135||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

I have found the treasure of everything good, and every hope I carried is filled.

Nanak says: my heart is full of joy — the Guru has broken down the thick, stubborn wall that kept me feeling separate.

When the wall of separateness comes down, what floods in is joy.
The deeper layer

The gun nidhaan, the treasure of all virtue, is found within, not somewhere far off; and the bikham gaarah, the impregnable fortress, is the ego's wall — the sense of being separate. Its falling is felt as ecstasy, not as loss.

A Question to Sit With

When have you felt a wall between you and someone else finally come down?
