Countless Ages, Endings and Beginnings

anik jugaad dinas ar raat.
Many ages, days and nights.
anik parla-o anik utpaat.
Many apocalypses, many creations.
anik jee-a jaa kay garih maahi.
Many beings are in His home.
ramat raam pooran sarab thaaN-ay. ||9||
The Lord is perfectly pervading all places. ||9||

In plain words

Countless ages rolling by, countless days and nights. Countless worlds ending and countless worlds beginning again. Countless beings, all living inside the One's own home.

Wherever you point — near, far, anywhere at all — the One is already fully there.

Through every ending and every beginning, the One is already fully there.
The deeper layer

Ages come and go, worlds end and begin, and the One is there through all of it.

Jugaad are the long ages of time. Parla-o is a world coming to an end. Utpaat is a world beginning. The verse sees worlds turning, ending and starting fresh, the way seasons turn. It is not about disaster.

Countless beings live in the One's home. And ramat raam pooran sarab thaa-ay — the One is fully present in every place.

Think of the ocean. Waves rise and fall all day, but the ocean stays. Through every ending and every fresh start, the One is there.

A Question to Sit With

What is something that stays steady even while everything around it changes?
