Says Nanak, I do not care about anything else; I have found the Lord, the Ocean of peace. ||2||18||41||

In plain words

I give myself over, again and again, in gratitude to the Guru and to the sight of the One.

Nanak says, now I do not fret about anything else at all — I have found an ocean of peace, and it is enough.

When you have found a deep peace, the small worries quietly lose their hold on you.
The deeper layer

Bal bal — I am a sacrifice — is an old expression of pouring-out gratitude and love, repeated here like a heartbeat. Having found sukh saagar, the ocean of peace, the heart is free of parvaahaa, the anxious caring-about-everything. When the deep thing is found, the small worries lose their grip.

A Question to Sit With

What is a worry that feels big now but might feel small once you feel at peace?
