In plain words

Wherever I am, my mind keeps turning to You.

I am Your small, humble child, and You, O One, are my Father. As You know best, You carry me across.

You do not have to figure everything out to be safely held.
The deeper layer

A small child, a loving parent: the mind turns to the One wherever it is, and rests in the One's care.

Baarik deen means a small, humble child. Pitaa parabh means God as a parent. The picture is about trust, not weakness. A little child does not earn a parent's care. The child simply rests in it, like a toddler asleep in someone's arms at a noisy party.

Ji-o jaaneh ti-o paarai means "as You know best, so You carry me across." It is the same deep letting-go the Gurus call sahaj, natural ease. I do not have to steer. I am held.

A Question to Sit With

When have you felt safest simply because someone who loved you was taking care of things?
