The intellect is enlightened, meditating on the Lord. He remains lovingly attuned to the essence of spiritual wisdom.

The Divine Light radiates forth deep within his being; his mind is pleased and appeased. He merges intuitively into Celestial Samaadhi. ||3||

In plain words

The mind lights up when it rests on the One, tuned in to the very heart of wisdom.

A light glows deep inside, the heart is content, and you settle — sahaj, easily and naturally — into a deep, still peace.

Rest your mind on the One, and a light switches on inside.
The deeper layer

Remembering the One lights up the mind.

Mat pargaas bha-ee har dhi-aa-i-aa — the mind lights up, remembering the One. Gi-aan tat liv laa-ay — it stays tuned to the heart of wisdom.

Antar jot pargatee — a light glows deep inside. Har sahj samaadh lagaa-ay — a deep stillness, reached with sahj, natural ease. Think of a pond on a windless morning. When the ripples settle, you can see right to the bottom.

A Question to Sit With

When does your mind feel clearest and most awake?
