tum hee dee-ay anik parkaaraa tum hee dee-ay maan.
You have blessed me with all sorts of gifts; you have blessed me with honor and respect.
sadaa sadaa tum hee pat raakho antarjaamee jaan. ||1||
Forever and ever, You preserve my honor, O Inner-knower, O Searcher of hearts. ||1||

Gift after gift, in more kinds than I can count, You have given me — and You have given me dignity too.
Again and again You keep my honor safe, You who know exactly what is inside my heart. I never have to earn any of it; it keeps arriving.
The gifts keep arriving, freely — never earned, always given.
Anik parkaaraa — gifts of countless kinds; maan — honor. Sadaa sadaa... pat raakho — forever You preserve my honor — echoes the grace-not-earned theme: the gifts are not wages but a steady, freely given stream, seen and known by the antarjaamee, the One who knows the heart.
A Question to Sit With
What is a gift in your life you did nothing to earn but are glad to have?
