In plain words

Whoever joins the Sangat of the holy comes out clean and new, whatever they got wrong before.

Nanak says: those with great good fortune win the priceless treasure of this human life.

No one is too far gone to be made new in the Sangat.
The deeper layer

Anyone who joins the Sangat can be made new.

Sang milay saaDhoo kai means joining the Sangat — people gathered together to remember the One. Patit puneetaa means "those who fell are made pure." No one is too far gone to be made whole. And a person's worth never depends on the family or caste they were born into.

Janam padaarath means this human life is itself the priceless treasure. Vadbhaagaa means very fortunate. That good fortune is a gift received in the Sangat. It isn't a prize you earn. Think of standing near a warm fire. You don't earn the warmth. You simply come close, and it reaches you.

A Question to Sit With

Who are the people who bring out the best, cleanest version of you?
