The profit of the Lord, Har, Har, is found in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy; so load it and bring it on home. ||1||

In plain words

When I remember the One, a great peace settles in and every quarrel inside me melts away.

The profit of the One is found in the Sangat — so load it up and carry it home with you.

The best thing you can carry home is the peace you gathered in the Sangat.
The deeper layer

Remembering the One brings deep peace. The profit of the Naam is found in the Sangat, and it is ours to carry home.

Simrat means remembering, and mahaa sukh means great peace. When we remember the One, bikhaad — quarrels and fights inside us — melt away.

Then the verse uses a trader's picture. Ghar lai aavhu laad means load it up and bring it home. Think of coming back from the market with bags full of good food for the family. The earning is found in saaDhsang: the Sangat — people gathered together to remember the One.

A Question to Sit With

What is something good you bring home with you after time with the right people?
