Once the One truly arrives in the heart, what else is even missing? The restless coming and going settles down.
When the heart makes peace with the Beloved, it blends right into Him. And think of the wonder: the One who raised this whole body-fortress out of something as fragile as a bubble.
He is the master of the five elements, the maker who shaped this living form with care. I come with empty hands — so please just hear me, Beloved. Whatever pleases You is what is real, and a heart given true understanding stops its endless wandering.
jin bimb kaa kot usaari-aa — who built a fortress (kot) out of a mere bubble (bimb): the body, so solid-seeming, is raised from something delicate — a quiet marvel, and a reminder of how held we are. panch bhoo naa-iko — master of the five elements, aap sirandaa, the maker himself. The line ham avganiaaray we render as honest empty-handedness rather than worthlessness: I come with nothing to show, and still, too sun pi-aaray — You, Beloved, hear me. Being heard does not depend on arriving impressive.
Does it surprise you that something as sturdy as your body started as something tiny and fragile?
