In plain words

The One, my Friend, has come to live inside the home of my heart. Singing His praises, I feel satisfied and full.

Singing them, I am content for good — the old inner hunger simply does not return. A heart that holds the Name is honored all around.

He Himself joins and parts all things; there is truly no other than the One. The Friend has come to live inside the home of my heart.

When the One lives in my heart, the restless inner hunger finally quiets.
The deeper layer

saajan aa-ay vuthay ghar maahee — the Friend has come to dwell (vuthay) within the home of the heart. The result is fullness: tripat aghaahee, satisfied and sated, fir bhookh na laagai, no returning hunger — an inner contentment that outside things cannot give. har aapay jorh vichhorhay — He joins and separates: even the meetings and partings of life move within the One, har bin ko doojaa naahee, there is no other. This settles the heart against clinging.

A Question to Sit With

What is a fullness that stays with you, unlike the kind of full that wears off quickly?
