Where the True Word and the True One's praises are sung, that home and that heart fill with a song of joy. Through the One's spotless goodness, body and mind become true, and the True One dwells within.
Such a heart lives only truth and speaks only truth, and whatever the True One does simply comes to be.
Wherever I look, there the True One is spread out — there is no other at all. From the True One we rise and into the True One we settle back. The One does everything and sets everything in motion.
This verse says that everywhere you look, you are looking at the same One.
Jah daykhaa tah sach pasri-aa, avar na doojaa ko-ee: wherever I look, the True One is spread out, and there is no second. This is Ik Onkar, "One Creator," lived out in everyday seeing. It is not one thing here and another thing there. It is one reality, pasri-aa, stretched through everything.
Think of sunlight in a room. It falls on the table, the floor and your hands, but it is all one light.
Sabh sach vartai sacho bolai: such a person lives only truth and speaks only truth. Their honest words come from being real on the inside first. Sachay upjai sach samaavai: we rise from the One, and we go back into the One.
Can you look at ordinary things around you and imagine one single life shining through all of them?
