Resting easy, the heart is pleasing to the One, wearing truth as its adornment. Clean and clear, it washes off the grime of ego and, through the Teacher, melts into the True One. The Maker joins it to Himself, and it finds the whole treasure of the Name.
gurmatee ghat chaanan ho-aa — through the Teacher's teaching, a chaanan, a light, dawns inside the ghat, the heart. haumai mal kho-ee — the mal, the grime of ego, is washed off: ego is treated as dust to be cleaned, not a crime to be judged. naam navai nidh — the Name as the navai nidh, the nine treasures, all wealth gathered into one inner richness. poorab likhi-aa paa-i-aa — what grace set in motion long before comes to be; the joining is His doing, aap milaa-ee kartai.
