In plain words

You are gentle with the ones the world overlooks — the small, the poor, the humble. Bring me into the company of those who love You.

In that company I caught the color of Your love, and now my whole self, mind and body, is soaked right through with it.

Stay in loving company long enough and its color soaks all the way through you.
The deeper layer

The deep red color from the start of the song now soaks through Nanak's whole self.

Har deenaa deen da-i-aal — the One is da-i-aal, kind, to the deen, the poor and overlooked. The Guru puts that kindness first.

Satsangat maylhu — "Bring me into the satsangat," the company of people who love the One. Mil sangat har rang paa-i-aa — in that company, the color of love came.

Man tan rany — mind and body are soaked in it. Think of a white cloth left in red dye overnight. By morning, every thread is red. Grace gives the color, and good company keeps it.

A Question to Sit With

How have the people around you colored the way you see the world?
