In plain words

There is only One. And the One is found by the True Guru's grace — a gift that is always here, waiting for an open heart.

I have met my beloved Teacher, and the restless thirst inside me is finally stilled.

I give my whole mind and heart to the Teacher, who leads me to the One, the treasure of all that is good.

Blessed, blessed is the guide who points me toward the One — by great good fortune I have found what I was thirsting for, and my whole self blossoms.

The endless thirst of wanting is stilled not by getting more but by meeting the One.
The deeper layer

trisnaa bujh ga-ee — trisnaa, the burning thirst of endless wanting, is quenched: not by getting more, but by meeting. naam vigaasay, blossoming (vigaas) in the Name. The Guru is honored as the one who dasay, points the way, to the One.

A Question to Sit With

What is a longing that got quieter once you finally found the right thing?
